2019 Corolla hatch. Looks nice. I wouldn’t get this smurf blue color, but I digress.

I wonder how tiny it really is. I might test fit my son’s car seat in one and go for a test drive once they start arriving at dealers.

The CVT they’ve used sounds pretty interesting too? Has an actual fixed first gear for launching to make it feel less rubbery and weird, and then shift over to the actual CVT once in motion. Won’t do much for highway wheeziness but at least for stop-go traffic it’ll probably help make it feel less weird.

It’s the size of most other compacts, right? Focus, Golf, the like. I imagine a Mazda 3 will be a far better choice, it’ll be a lot less boring to drive. And given your name I suppose you like Mazdas.

I wonder how the wagon will turn out. We’ve lost the sedan ages ago in my market and the hatch is far from common, but the wagon is somewhat popular. Among those that take being risk adverse to the extreme and those who primary want a hybrid and don’t care about the rest. That at least is my impression.
